Verge Conversion by NCEC

The Banyo Pilot Project is also about creating employment. A significant part of the grant goes towards Nundah Community Enterprises Co-operative converting some verges. We hope that the experience provides more opportunities for their workers in this style of gardening. This first conversion starts this month. See the story here

On Saturday 26th August, we will have a planting bee in this garden. more here

More than a planting project

Thank you to community members and local community groups for their support of our project. As the project has taken shape, we have all seen that it is as much about growing community as growing plants.
